VIDEO: Is Dennis Wideman Pissed, Or Dazed?

In this video, you can see former Boston Bruins Dennis Wideman destroying a linesman for what appears to be no reason at all.

What’s important to realize, however, is that directly before Wideman’s hit, he was shoved head-first in to the glass by Miikka Salomaki, which is having people question whether or not Wideman intentionally attacked the linesman.

If Wideman was in fact dazed and unaware of his surroundings, this be a relatively scary situation. Wideman could have suffered tremendous head trauma leading to the altercation, which is additionally scary considering he continued to play throughout the game.

If Wideman was in fact just pissed-off, this becomes equally as bad of a situation, as he will likely receive a very lengthy suspension – or maybe even worse. Some believe Wideman should be kicked-out of the National Hockey League.
