Thank You Note: Dunkin’ Donuts

At Bruins Diehards, we like to give credit where it’s due. And today, we would like to send a thank you note to one of the truly greatest beverage companies in the world, Dunkin’ Donuts.

I’ll be honest, I wasn’t really planning on writing a thank you post to Dunkin’ Donuts. However, during the Bruins West Coast road trip where every game doesn’t start until 10PM or later, I began to realize how much of a difference a coffee from Dunks actually makes. Seriously, I don’t have a clue in hell as to how I would be able to function after those late-night games without a hot black coffee in my hands. (Yes, black coffee. Cream and sugar is cheating to me.)

But the fact of the matter is, I actually get relatively pissed-off when I have coffee other than Dunkin’s. Starbucks is too overrated to the point where it should sponsor the Pittsburgh Penguins. Tim Hortons is not any better and should just stay in Canada. Keurig coffee isn’t bad, but is nowhere near as satisfying as New England’s finest.

So, today, I would like to recognize Dunkin’ Donuts as the coffee that America runs on. And furthermore, on behalf of Bruins Diehards all across New England, thank you for allowing us to be functional despite these late-night West Coast games.
