Tori Sullivan might be the most entertaining personality on the Boston Pride. But her contributions on the ice are what lead the Pride to ink her to a contract extension for the 2020-21 season on Wednesday. Sullivan tallied 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points in 24 games in her rookie campaign, finding quite a bit of success in the Pride’s top 6. She tied for the league lead in powerplay goals with five, and her bubbly personality manifested itself both on and off the ice. “If the NWHL had an award for Best Dangles, Tori would win unanimously,” said Boston GM Karilyn Pilch. “We are thrilled to have her back next season. Her love for the game and carefree attitude make her a delight to have in the locker room, and crucial to the culture that brought us so much success.” Sullivan, who spent two years at Boston College before transferring to Northeastern to finish her stellar collegiate career, spent this past season as an assistant coach with the Huskies, helping lead them to a Top 3 ranking nation-wide and a dominant run through Hockey East en-route to a conference championship.
She and teammate Christina Putigna have spearheaded the Pride’s social media interactions, with their TikTok videos gaining league-wide acclaim. The two have injected memorable personality into the locker room for the Pride, and it’s clear that those contributions are just as important to both the organization and the players as their on-ice success.

“Last year was a remarkable experience, and I can’t wait to rejoin a culture that continually inspires us to grow as people and players,” said Sullivan. “I can’t thank my team enough for offering me another opportunity to be part of the NWHL and the Boston Pride organization! It’s such a privilege, and I’m so incredibly grateful to be in an organization led by individuals who want what’s best for the players, fans, the NWHL, and women’s ice hockey as a whole. To Boston Pride and NWHL fans, I hope to provide you all with a season full of laughs and entertainment.”
Yeah. Get excited.
