Boston Bruins Release Reverse Retro Jersey

The Bruins have officially released their Reverse Retro jersey, dubbing it “A nod to '90.”

It should be noted that this Bruins jersey is easily a top-five jersey among the Reverse Retro collection. Simplicity is something the Bruins took into consideration here while it was lacking with other teams around the league. This is not a jersey that I would personally “Chris Sale” for a few reasons.

Yellow is one of my favorite colors and I painted my bathroom quite literally the same color as the Bruins jersey just a few years ago. Because yellow is my favorite color and I love the Bruins I feel like it’s impossible to be unbiased. It would also be unfair to call this a gold jersey. It’s very clearly yellow.

Still, the general consensus on the jersey has been more favorable than not.

“Meth Bear” makes a return as a shoulder patch. You either love it or hate it. Not making it the logo was the right call. The subtly on the shoulder is a nice homage to the beloved bear.

I have to say that this is much better than the leak that came out last week. Like I said before, it’s one of the better jerseys from this collection. The only downside to this release is that fans won't be able to wear them at games this season.
